REVIEW

The cover is set in a dark background with an image of Moon behind some clouds. It’s just too much simple for such an topic. It could have been better.

The title actually reveals the plot of the Novel quite a bit. This novel is the story of experiences which the author himself has been through. It’s quite thought provoking and makes the reader curious about his story and his experiences.

The blurb is quite good. It is quite right in every aspect, it surely describes what the novel tries the reader to believe in.  The novel talks about “Hope” in the end.

“The book hopes to save people from making that false step and even if one does commit that mistake, the book offers hope that it is not the end of the world; one can always get to the Light”. These are the lines which completely depicts the whole novel. This is the crux of the author’s experience of the dark world.

This is the story of real encounters of the author’s journey of finding a True Spiritual Master, in which instead of finding a True Mentor, author gets into dark world of tantric, dark magic and aghoris.

The story is gripping and made me hooked to the book for quite some time. There are few supernatural incidents which may make you doubt whether it could be possible in reality or not.

The Language used in the story is inspiring as it gives hopes to the readers that even after getting into these dark things, one can find his way back to light.

The Characters seemed to be alive, since this novel is based on the personal experiences of the author himself.

This novel really made me understand why there are so many people who gets conned by the so called religious gurus/ spiritual gurus these days.

Like the author, every individual has some spiritual needs and this story is none the less, which everyone should give a try. I recommend this novel to all those who have spiritual needs and may want some help with finding the right spiritual guide, as this story helps you in knowing what not to look in a spiritual guide.
