Book Review: The Wild Cat by Taanya Sarma

BLURB
Based on true events, this erotic thriller novel tells the tale of a young, naive woman named Tanya who enters the online dating and chat world. Her first foray into this digital realm initially proves to be bland and disappointing; however, sex, suspense, power struggles and attempted murder soon unfold. These unwelcome adventures interfere with her business and her sanity as she aspires to live up to her deceased parent’s standards.
A conman named Sam ensnares Aaron, a handsome investment banker, into his ploy and uses him as a pawn to lure women into doing things they normally wouldn’t do. Sam then exposes their personal information as well as their images, sometimes in the act of cyber sex, and posts them on a very successful porn website that he owns. Tanya’s encounter with these two men evolves into a long, winding road, with each turn bringing irreparable changes in her life.
Enraged by the deceit and the unconscionable behavior of these men, Tanya turns whistleblower and vows to assist the FBI in shutting down the dating app and porn site – and she won’t stop until the perverted perpetrators are behind bars. She never relents, but ultimately laments, “I never thought that I would have to give up my life to remain alive.”

The blurb is compact and bang on target. It highlights the soul of the story. The Blurb is written in such a way to make a reader pick the book.

I just loved the cover of the book.
Above the title, there is an half image of the face of a female showing her nose, lips and hairs. Below the Title, is an skyline of some city, New York, I guess.

The Cover is just beautiful, and in complete sync with the plot of the story. The minute I saw it, I was sure this novel is going to be Thriller ride.

The Title is eye catching, and made me read this novel. I can say that the title is quite apt for this story and one of the best thrillers I have read in some time.

The plot of the story is beautifully designed anda lot of research has been put in by the authoress Taanya Sharma.

The Characterization is done with a great clarity. All Characters were justified and given importance as per their role in the plot.

The language used in the book is lucid and simple enough to connect the reader with the story. Sarcasm and Light humor added to the experience of the journey.

This novel is the first part of the Wild Cat Trilogy, so I am looking forward to the second part as the end of this novel left on a cliffhanger.

I can guarantee that You won’t be disappointed after picking this Novel.
